Ageless FinTech with Lisa Moyle

Episode 87: Ageless FinTech with Lisa Moyle

Lisa Moyle is co-founder of VC Innovations where she’s committed to connecting established financial institutions with financial technology (FinTech) startups and technology providers. All the while keeping an eye towards making sure women are part of the equation. Her annual event, FinTech Talents, beings together this ecosystem of nearly 3,000 attendees to facilitate networking, establishing business relationships, and giving university students a look inside the industry.

Aside from creating memorable, unique and interactive experiences at these events, her goal is to make sure women are not only a part of this ecosystem, but they’re also part of the voices that help create the products to be consumed by and meet the needs of women, specifically, women baby boomers.

A few highlights:

14:04: The importance of increasing diversity across not just gender, but age in FinTech.

19:65: How big chunks of the market, particularly women, are being left under-served by financial advisors.

21:50: Why it’s critical to capture people at key moments of their lives, when big financial decisions are being made.

27:43: As a mother of four, how the biggest barrier to reentering the workforce was confidence.
